Trim sensor

I have a 2007 V150TLR. Could someone help me locate the trim sensor? Im getting incorrect trim readings so I may need to replace it.

Number 3 in this diagram is trim sender, but check number 1, a clamp looking band on tilt tube it may be broken.

Thank you for your help and diagram, that helps a lot.
Will a broken band (part number 1) give me incorrect trim readings or just the trim sender? My problem is the trim gauge reads only one bar until it gets up past the half up position on the motor. Then the trim bars light up very quickly as you continue to raise the trim of the motor.
