I have twin 2007 F150TXR's. Primary ID on the right engine is 63PX 1057379 and the left is 64PX 1007379. Both of the plastic trim sender cam rings are broken so the trim indicator gauge does not indicate properly. First question is why would these parts break with engines that were purchased less then 3 years ago? Is there something I can do to prevent them from breaking or extend their life? Second, I found 2 different part numbers for F150TXR's: 64E-43139-KT-00 and 64E-43139-02-00. What is the difference in these parts? Based on the parts explosion diagram it looks like I should order the 64E-43139-02-00. Is this correct?

Mine too
I have twin '06's and had to replace 1 of mine about the same time. I have my spare kit in front of me and the number is 99999-03830 which has P/n 90159-05059(screw) and 64E-43139-10(cam) but mine are 06's. The new cam is metal now so it should last longer. Good luck.

99999-03830 is the new cam to use to replace the plastic ones, it is metal and does resolve the problem of them breaking.
