I have purchased a used 50HP Yamaha outboard, Model no: F50 TLRX 62YL414966. Can you please confirm Year and model/type.

Could you please also indicate the kind of tachometer and propeller that would be indicated for this motor?

It's a 1999 four stroke 50 horse power 20" shaft motor.

As far as the prop goes, it depends on what you're using it on. Do you want a 4-blade or a 3-blade? You can checkout www.Overtons.com for props. But you'll need to have an idea of the pitch needed.

Thanks a lot Mike for the information. The only question now is : what is the meaning of the following "High thrust" On the motor cover?

The "High Thrust" model came with a 2.33 lower unit gearset whereas the regular F50 came with 1.85 gears. They gear it low so you could put a high pitch prop on it and push a sail boat or a small ship with it.
