'86 50HP Pro conversion to tiller

Hello all, I was wondering if there is a way to convert a 50Pro 1986-87 to a tiller. i am rebuilding a skiff, and a tiller would open up the deck a ton for fishability. Are there kits to buy, how difficult is it???

It looks like the tiller handle kit 6H4-W0086-A1-00 is no longer available.
