VST filter

Greetings: I have an 02 Yamaha 2 cycle fuel injected 150 EFI. Love the motor except the VST filter has to be cleaned/changed almost monthly. I have an inline 10 micron Yamaha filter ahead of the motor and a paper filter too. Anyone aware of an additive to prevent clogging? I suspect its due to the ethanol but not sure. I use Ringfree too

Racor makes a 2 micron fuel/water filter, if what you are seeing in VST is is like aluminum oxidation then may need a new gas tank.
