How to get ilumination to the gauges.

I conected my gauges to the boat and they are working perfecly now i have a blue and yellow plug that go into a light source. I need to know to where do i connect this two wires so that my gauges have light at night.

Color coded harness....

The Yamaha wiring harness is color coded. Generally wires should connect to the same color wires throughout the harness. The blue wire is the light source wire, it should connect to your Nav Light switch or into that output line somewhere so your gauge lights come on when your Nav Lights come on. The yellow wire connects to a "Hot with Key ON" source. You should see other yellow wires coming off the back of your ignition switch, just connect into that yellow wire where available. Black is always ground.
