I know the book calls for 5 qts. After placing 4.1 qts I've noticed that the oil level is at the approx. 1/2 full mark. Is this enough oil for the engine?
If the oil level is between the hash marks it's ok. You need to run engine for about 5 minutes after adding oil then tilt engine up and let set for 5 minutes then tilt back down and recheck oil level before adding any more oil.
