reset trim gauge

My 2005 F225TXRD (Robalo 227) had a gummed up trim actuator. I unscrewed the plastic actuator from the engine, (2 screws) cleaned it up and it works fine now. I cannot get the gauge to reset to 0 (it shows 2 bars when trimmed down all the way). Pressed mode (4 seconds) and set buttons. No go. Do I have to re-adjust the actuator manually by sliding it up or down?

Also my owners manual is pretty much useless as far as winterizing and other simple maintainance. Can I down load this info anywhere on this site?

You do have to adjust it by loosening the 2 screws and rotating sender.
