225 1999 0X 66 Dead in Water

While drifting into a fishing spot --engine running in neutral ---engine cut out ---- was unable to restart --trim and tilt did not work --batteries were fine --have a dual battery system --- checked the main fuse was blown 30 amp ?? --put iin new one --it blew . Any ideas ??? trim switch had been acting kinda of funny on binacle --worked in up mode only
not sure what is going on

sounds like a short at switch, harness etc. unhook both to see.
