91 Yamaha 150 Fuel Restriction Issue???

Hi I own a 91 150 Yamaha TXRP. I'm having an issue with fuel restriction, I just replaced both fuel pumps with OEM one's and I thought it would replace the problem but it didn't. Here's the problem the primer pump is sucking flat and the boat is idleing pretty good but when you go to give it throttle the boat just bogs down and it feels like something is restricting the fuel flow. Something was mentioned to me about a spring and ball in the fuel line but I'm not sure where to begin. Please help I wanna get this thing out striper fishing.. if ball is sucking flat you have a tank, pickup tube or hose restriction.
