yamaha 225 loosing power on hole shot

2001 yamaha 225 will barely come out of the hole, it feels like the motor is trimmed to high but its not. It seems that its loosing power to one bank. After 5 or 10 seconds it will kick in and take off. Top end it does ok. Anybody got any suggestions?

Sounds like needs lower pitch prop. What model is it? What kind of boat? What rpm's is it turning at wide open? Has it always done this?

Its on a 206 Champion Bass Boat, and is a VMAX EFI 3.1. This is something that recently started. I think its turning around 5600 rpm wide open

Probably need to get ignition system tested, check shift switch and knock sensor. Run fuel pressure and vacumn tests to make sure getting enough fuel.
