temp gauge & water press. gauge

My temperature gauge and water pressure gauge have stopped working on my 2003 4 stroke, 225 Yamaha. Any recommendations on how to fix this? The engine runs fine, no alarms. They have worked in the past. Is something clogged or plugged? Do I need to replace anything?
