yamaha 225 trim problem

I have a 2001 Yamaha 225, i trimmed the motor up to put the motor toter in place and i noticed it dropped about two inches and stopped. Its seems to be inconsistent but it has done this the last two times i checked it. Everything works ok but it has some fluid bypass or something causing this. Anyone ever had this problem?

Make sure it is full of trim fluid and check that manual release screw is tight.
