Determining 9.9 HP engine type?

Sorry, I put the cart before the horse in my earlier post today regarding my need for a new or used engine cowling. I found the new cover info on this site.

Can anyone let me know how to find out how to tell what type of 9.9 I have as there are three choices for the top cowling.

They list 9.9ELHU, 9.9ELRU and 9.9ESHU. as model types.

Mine is a 1996, 9.9 with electric start. It is used as a kicker motor, so I believe it is not a short shaft.

My engine number is 6G8L471315

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ELHU is electric start, long shaft, tiller handle and 1996
ELRU is electric start, long shaft, remote control and 1996
ESHU is electric start, short shaft, tiller handle and 1996
The top cowling should be same for all of those.
