Plug Wire
Need a plug wire/ignition coil for a 2000 40hp yamaha (TLRY). Only need the top one so I really hesitate paying the $90+ for all three. Does anyone have a suggestion of where I could get just one? Not trying to be unfair to this great site but I really only need the one. Also, would love to get a service manual for this engine if anyone has one. Thanks in advance to this great site and group of guys and moderators.

good books lots of pictures, on electrical stuff and descriptions how stuff works !!!!

The ignition coil is number 7 in this diagram and the price is for one coil, you can buy as many as you need. I would suggest you also get the plug wire boot, number 11 as it doesn't come with coil.
