Lessons Learned from remote oil tank !!!!!

Thanks for those of you who helped. It's fixed. This may seem common sense to some but I'll share because if you ever have an issue with the main tank not filling from the remote tank this is more than likely why..... ....... if your float in the remote tank goes bad due to float or corroded wires it WILL NOT fill the main tank because it thinks the remote tank is empty even if it's topped off. Yes, the emergency toggle will fill the tank but it will not automatically as demanded. Also, the toggle will fill with just the key on, but to fill automatically the outboard must be running to deliver the voltage. Just some thoughts I'd share to save some other guy from sweltering in 100 degree south Louisiana sun for hours with a multi meter in one hand, and swatting mosquitos with the other
