08 250 HPDI Oil Usage ?

Last fall i bought an 08 Ranger Z20 with a 250 HPDI. I bought it form a Renger Team Guy who gets a new one every year. Well It sure likes to drink oil. I started off burning 25 to one on the oil ratio. I was told the oil pump linkage needed to be adjusted by some. My dealer todl me to forget it the computer drives the oil usage. I dont know what to do except buy stock in yamalube.

Ccan any one tell me how much oil i am to burn? Is it different for how fast you are running and if so what is the oil usag to be at full tilt?

The oil pump runs off the crankshaft, the more rpm's the more oil it uses. The HPDI motors do use more oil than other models but uses less gas.
