  • Proper way to drain trim fluid

What is the proper way to drain all fluid out of the reservoirs?

What is the proper way to add fluid? How do I get it in the tiny hole, small squirt can?

Having some issues with the tilt and trim fluid, looks watery and kinda black, yet no visible leaks, motor doesn't drop , by squealing loud right now.

Weather is almost warm enough to try and fix. Thanks for any help.

There is no drain. Most of the time have remove trim unit, disassemble and clean.

Is that the only way to get the fluid out? They disassemble the unit to remove fluid? I was told to tilt boat up at front as high as it would go to drain it, but was looking for the proper way. Seems like it could be expensive to change fluids if you need to remove unit each time, not very feasible.

you could tilt it upside down but that wouldnt get the shavings out.... depends on what youre trying to accomplish.
