The Yamaha carbs are notorious for clogging up if you let them sit more than a few weeks without running. The idle jet and main jet are located in the bottom sides of the carb bowls and everytime the gas evaporates it leaves debri behind that dries up and clogs the jets. You need to remove the jets and clean them out. The larger brass bolt looking thing is the main jet and the smaller one is the idle jet. If you can get some Amsoil PowerFoam cleaner that's the best stuff, but if not you can go to Walmart and get some Berryman's Chemtool spray carb cleaner. Remove the jets, spray up into the carb bowls, then spray (soak) the individual jets and brush them to remove the gunk that's built up on and in them. Use some Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer and SeaFoam decarb treatment in you fuel tanks as preventative maintenance. But the main thing is to run the engine every week or so to keep fuel in the bowls and flush the junk out of them.
