2006 50 hp 2 stroke mounting

if the 4 bolts thru the transom are used; (2) upper and (2) lower
does one need to use the mount clamps

are the clamp bolts removeable and how is it done?

what is the overall width of the top mounting bolt portion of the
mounting face (bolt cl's are abt 12-3/4")?

(width of the mounting bracket casting at the top holes?)

No the clamps are not needed if bolt to transom. You will have remove the clamp washers to remove clamp screw.
