2005 trim/tilt gauge, ringfree

Have a 2005 digital trim/tilt gauge that worked fine. Now when motor is all the way down the gauge indicates it is only half way down. When I raise motor gauge indicates the motor is going up. Is there any kind of reset for these gauges or will I have to install a new one? Need some more ringfree. Is the HPDE 6 ok to use in 2005 115hp 2stroke Yamaha?

Check the Trim Cam on tilt tube, may be broken. It's number 1 in diagram,
