I have a general question for you experts:
I have an 08 200 hp HPDI that I was having issues with it bogging down when I went around 3500-5000 RPM's. It also shook really bad when I started it and sat idle.
My question is, upon taking the boat in to be serviced 2 times for the same problem, the dealership says they figured it out. $300 and change later.
I was told that none of this was warrenty work because there were no parts involved. I have not picked the boat up yet due to lack of funds, but he said it had something to do with the throttle linkage and some things on the engine needed to be adjusted. Sounds like I could have done it myself. Is this true that I should responsible for the cost? I would think it should be billed as warranty work. If I am wrong, I will suck it up and pay, but I thought I would ask here. What would you guys do?
Thanks.
