A have owned an 03' 90hp 4 stroke for a couple of years. It has always been difficult to cold start. I have changed plugs, all filters, and new battery. Any suggestsions? Is this common for this model? Could it be an electric choke problem?
Could be a problem with the prime start system. Normally you trim motor down all the way, pump fuel primer bulb till firm and put throttle lever in idle position(don't give it any throttle) and start. If still having problems remove carbs and check prime start.
