2004 200hp 4 stroke problems/recalls

To the owners of the 2004 200hp 4 stroke,

I am looking to buy a pair of 2004 200hp 4 stroke, but after reading about the oil leaks which the shops are unable to locate problem and throttle linkage recall on the net, I am having second thought about the motors. I have always own Honda to am clueless of the Yame. Just want to hear your thoughts, good or bad, about this motor.

Our 2005 F200 has been completely trouble free - no unscheduled repairs. I'm not sure why you're worried about the throttle rod recall - just make sure it was done on the motors you're buying.
