115hk v4 1998 cold start problems

Dear readers

I experience problems starting the engine when its cold or medium cold, at a warm state there is no problem starting the engine.

In cold or medium state i must run the engine for several seconds (on/off) and suddenly it fires and runs smoothly.

I have to use choke in both conditions

It have been suggested that there might be a problem with the fuel pump, small holes in the membrane ?

Could be choke plates are not closing all the way. Could be dirty carbs or out of sync. Do sync and linkage adjustments.
