"StickOn" Hour Meter

Has anybody used one of those Stick-On hourmeters that work off of a plug wire and no other external power source.

I'm contemplating one for a 2 stroke Yam 8 HP.

Comments please and a recommended source(Brand?) if you have successfully used one.
