Buzzer upon cranking...

Hey folks,

2001 ox66 150hp saltwater. Last night, everything was fine. Did some *****ing and came in. Tonight, I go to crank her up, and immediately upon cranking her, a buzzer starts as I crank her. Plus, buzzer or not, she doesn't start; just cranks. There are no icons lighting on the gauges. Any clues?

7 years of boat ownership ... I've never popped the safety clip off from the seat. So it was dark, and I'm an idiot. I can't thank you enough.

PS as I'm typing, the wife says "is that that thing I picked up with the stretchy line attached?" Good grief.
