Bent prop shaft

I have a 9.9 motor and according to the manual, I need a special tool, part# YB6234 and 6117. This tool is a puller used to pull the propeller shaft bearing carrier. Anyone familiar with this setup? All my other pullers won`t work. Thanks in advance, Mike

My son hit a rock with my 2004 50h/p Yamaha-It appears that the prop shaft is bent. How much trouble is it to replace and what else should I do and look for while I am there. Thanks!

With the proper tools and a torque wrench it's not hard to do, check bearings and replace seals.
