Blowing my main fuse [100 amp]

anyone have an idea on this problem i am having?

last weekend i went to start my kicker [9.9 high thrust Yami] with the electric start button on the head.

my deck lights and cabin lighst blinked, pushed it again...blinked again. third time is a ______, everything goes out except for anything hardwired to the batteries.

chased down the issue to a 100 amp fuse blown, but kicker still doesn't turn over and i am affraid to blow another fuse.

any thoughts on what this could be? Starter, something else?

Could be battery cables(bad, dirty or loose connection), starter, or starter relay. May have blown fuse on motor.
