Hi guys,
My 1999 Yam 225 OX66 has developed a "sneeze" at idle or in-gear idle.
It doesn't happen all the time, but frequently enough. I'm being told it means a lean fuel condition. The only other sympton I can see is at a higher rpm, say between 3500-5500. She'll run that rpm fine, but lose 500+- rpms for a few seconds, then recover, all rather smoothly. The last time I had that particularly sympton, turned out it was a bad low pressure fuel pump. All three of those lp fuel pumps, the vst screen, O2 sensor now have about 70 hours on them so I doubt one of those could be causing this problem already?
Or should I be looking at them again? TPS was checked and is within spec.
