I made it almost all season.
in Feb. 2008, I rebuilt the carbs again because of dirty fuel.
Used the boat all season and last weekend it started acting up.
The boat has a yamaha mini-10 spin-on filter. The fuel filter just before the fuel pump has only a couple of little specs of dirt on it.
The jets are TINY on this engine and am wondering if there is anything else I can do to keep the problem from happening????
I get my fuel from the same place for all 3 engines, my cars and my jet ski. The fuel is not contaminated in the tank.
Is there any additive that can be used other than a fuel stabalizer?
Anyone else have a problem with these engines? I thought about going up a size in the jets, but am leary to do it.
