2005 yam. 4 stroke start fine, idles, little ruff, put new fuel line and bubble , good plugs, good fire. checked fuel filter for water, checked in line fuel filter both ok. Now I'm looking for a pressure gage to see what psi is on the fuel pump,
I have been reading and looks like yam. is having issues on the 2005 fuel pumps and inject ores. I have found some others talking about related issues and added them below , Don't know If this could be whats wrong with my 115it has very low hr.s on it.
DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS MY ISSUE OR NOT???? I found it and just adding it to my tread!!! MIGHT HELP OTHERS Or MY SELF!
If your hi-press pump is clogging and your primary or first filter your fuel goes through isnt ,this means the particulates are fine enough to pass through and then some of them are getting stopped at the hi-press pump filter and the rest are getting through and ending up in the fuel injector filter.
If youve ever looked into the back of an injector at the filter ,it is soo fine
you cant even tell its a filter, even if you look through a magnifying glass, unless you have a clean one to compare, you couldnt tell it was clogged.
.After replacing my obviously clogged hi-press pump filter, I pulled my fuel rail and injectors and inspected under a magnifying glass and low and be hold I could tell that one of them was clogged and only because I could not see a fine screen mesh in the one. Now on the other hand if they were all clogged I would not have been able to tell at all.
a clogged injector motor will run and rev up nicely in the driveway as if running perfect,but as soon as you get it in the water and put a load on her...total collapse of top end power
From What I have read putting a
blue filters are 10 microns on it will keep this from happing
