2003 150 2 stroke only fireing on 5 cylinders

i have an 2003 150 2 stroke that will not run over 4500rpm motor sounds good slow out of the hole but runs well except for the fact it wont run over 4500rpm i changed the plugs ran boat same poblem . checked plugs when i got home all looked used except #3 looked like it was new. checked compression all was within 5lbs off each others changed coil pack on plug cylinder not working same problem semi cleaned carbs and changed fuel pumps still no diffrence . i can run the boat and it runs good but wont run over 4500 under load i take cover off engine and feel plugs all are almost too hot to touch except the #3 . any ideas thank you John

clean that #3 carb,

run it at about 1200 rpms, pull that plug wire andi bet you wont hear a sound fluctuation like you will on the others.

i will clean again

puled at higher rpm didnt hear much of diffrence the plug is moist and seems to be getting fuel but i will pull carb and clean again it is also getting spark could it still get spark with a bad cdi?
