70 HP identification

G'day all,

I've recently purchased a 70hp yamaha and I'm having a bit of difficulty nailing down the year so I can order parts. I am experiencing intermittent cutting out when warm but after a minute or so it fires right up again, I suspect the power pack.

At the righthand bottom of the plate is a solitary 'B'.

Is this a '92 model? I can post a pic if required.

We don't have any information on motors sold outside USA and we don't any any listing for that model number, not sure what year it is.

Thanks for the reply. I have just now discovered a website that lists Australian model numbers - it's a '92 model.
