Just bought a pair of 96 250 models with around 800 hrs. Compression checked out fine... every cylinder on both motors were at 105-110. Cranks right up and runs strong. What can I expect from these motors reliability wise, fuel economy etc. Also are these the same basic model of the ox66 just carbed? Any info would be greatly appreciated... got to get offshore!!

basically the same w/ diferent intakes. they are the largest bore, so in turn will burn their share and have great reliability if you maintain them and feed them good oil and ringfree.
