Yamaha 90A-1994 impeller replacement

Hi I'm Sara Lee,

I've got a Yamaha 90 A outboard overheating at high RPM's..checked thermostat and oil pump- all working well, want to have a look at the impeller. Anyone know how to do this on A yamaha, or have a scan of the service manual.

You can order a factory service manual at www.YamahaPubs.com and you'll have it in a week. Use a good torque wrench when reassembling the pump to properly torque the bolts.

Pull the lower casing, there is an extra bolt under the zinc anode, pull the anode bolt first by removing the plug on top - i think that would be 6 bolts, it should just slide right off with the entire drive shaft -
