purchased digital tach for yamaha f115 no info in box how do you get the lights to work

The blue wire is the lights. Hook that wire to a lead from either the other instrument light wires or just one that's hot when you turn ON your navigation lights. The Yamaha harness is color coded so if you're using a standard Yamaha harness just plug it into the other blue wires.
