Tach problem flash icon

I have a tach gauge with a 60hp 2004 four stroke, i have a pulsing icon at the right of the rpm, i find it's water in the motor fuel filter, but
1) there is no water in the filter
2) the filter have only the in and out tube for the gasoline, no sender

Not sure if the tach's are the same as the ones we use or not but the newer tach's with hour meter does have a hour glass icon thats indicates hour meter is working. The 2004 F60 doesn't have the water detection sensor on fuel filter so not sure why the water warning would be on.
