Does anyone have a service manual for a Yamaha 1990 8hp 8SD? Searched the usual places and they are all out of stock.
About to engage in installing the water pump repair kit and don't want to start rummaging around blind...although I am known to do that at times....like I did with the carb..it was gummed up for 2 years. Popped off the float bowl, sprayed some carb. cleaner and the little wonder started up on the second pull. But, no water is spraying out of the little tube under the engine housing. Which to me indicates that the water pump impeller is snotted.
