Hi, can anyone help with information on the correct wiring for a 2008 yamaha 50hp EFI. I am installing the Multi function Tacho kit # 6yR-W0035-E2 supplied by my dealer with the engine, and am worried that the oil level/trim tilt lead supplied may not be correct for my application, the part # is 6y5-83653-20 and has the following wire colours, Pink, Green, Grey,Green/red. My problem is that I can't find any plug on the engine that corresponds with these colours. The only plug that it can connect to has a Pink/white, 2x Pink/black, and one plain Pink. The remote control is a yamaha 703. My local suppling dealer tells me that it should be ok connected to this plug, but he didn't sound very convincing. Any help would be most appreciated.
