just out of storage

Hello everyone, just a quick question, I have a 1984 Yamaha 90 HP 2 stroke outboard, question is, I am just now taking it out of winter storage and would like to know if I should bleed the oil injection system before running it? It has not been started in about 6 months. All help is appreciated...Thanks...Ken

I start them on a portable gas tank with oil mixed in gas to check oil system and how it runs before using boat gas with no oil in it.

Unfortunatly I dont have a portable tank, mine is built in, but how can I tell if it is pumping oil or not?...Ken

Look for air bubbles in oil injection lines. The oil lines will become stained and you can't see the oil inside tubing. If the gas tank in boat is not very big then add oil to gas.
