Hello all, I am new to both boating and this forum, this is my first post and I wonder if anyone can help. I have just bought a Yamaha 55hp outboard serial No. 55AE 663 305640. Can anyone tell me what year it was made? and also where I can get a manual for it cosidering that I come from Scotland.
One of the problems I have is the fact that the previous owner is not being very helpfull and the wiring loom has been cut. I dont know what wires are what and I am afraid to try and start it in case I cause damage. can anyone let me know what wire goes where? Thanking you in advance. coltness
