ignition coils

I see arcing out side the spark plug wire cap. do I need a new coil or just the cap? one cylinder is dead because of this, the other two seen to working fine.thanks

test it first

use a ome metter and test the coils first u might be surprised what ull find I had the same thing happen to me on my 90etlk found that two coils were bad the good ones were between 555 and 710 omes be shure to do this test with the motor off and use the ground on the coil and put the red test end in the cap and the meter should be set on 1000 to 2000 omes range so if two are working and u test number three and its different then its bad
