ecm compatibility

hey folks,

i have a 1994 sws 200txrs and having a oil injection problem, we've done all the checks and now we think it might be the ecm. i have an extra ecm from a 1992 175txrq and was wondering if i can use this ecm just to check the oil injection operation ? the original ecm part no. 62H-85540-00-00 and the 175txrq no. is 61H-85540-00-00. i would only use the ecm to check oil injection operation and would NOT run the motor. any help would be appreciated.

The 61H-85540 does supersede to 62H-85540 so it should work.
