115 stroke tilt/trim problem
I just spent a half hour searching through the tilt/trim problems and I find some that are somewhat similar but, not exactly.
I've been having a problem for the past 3 years and I really want to do something about it but, I'd like to narrow it down.
On occasion (over 50% of the time), my tilt UP does not work from both the bow and control handle tilt switches. However, it always works from my engine switch.
I had a mechanic look quickly and he said the switches were OK because the main switched worked and that it might me a wiring problem. I pulled the main relay off (and screwed it up doing so
) so I ordered a new relay from you folks. That did not cure the problem. I noticed in the wiring diagram that there is another relay on the motor (68V8194A0000). Could it be that relay or do I have to (ugh) uses meters and stuff to find the bad wire? Any suggestions appreciated.
