For what its worth...

Last weekend I was running my boat with twin 4S 225's and it would not accelerate past 3700 RMP... I couldn't figure it out until I realized I did not remove my motor covers that I keep on for trailering...Once I removed the covers...the motors were able to breathe!!!

Does anyone know or think if I did any real damage, to the intake or the fuel system, etc.?
