Twin Engine set-up for Mutifunction Spend and Fuel Gauges

I have twin 2004 300 HPDIs with digital tachs and both a mutifunction speed gauge and mutifunction fuel gauge. My question is: I would like for the optional guages to turn-on independent of which engine is running. Currently the multifunctional fuel gauge is powered on only with the strbd engine running and the multifunctional speed gauge is powered on only with the port engine running. Hence, as long as both engine are running, all guages work but if I just want to run 1 engine then I lose the function of 1 gauge. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, David

You can't connect speedo to both engines but you could move speedo yellow , black and red wires to port engine to power up with port engine.
