removing Seals on Yamaha F50??

The oil seal in the lower unit on my 1999 yamaha F50 is leaking and I need to change the seals but I am not to sure how to remove the seal. There are 2 seals back to back that slide on the spline.

Has anybody change these seals before? if so how did you remove the old ones?

Do I have to remove the lower casing cap to remove the seals?

Yes the seal housing does need to be removed to replace seals.
