Tach Question

I just got a 2002 Yamaha 50TLRA, and need a tach. Question is about options. Can I use a regular analog model by hooking up the 3 wires mentioned in other threads(green,yellow, blk.)?

If I go with the Yamaha digital, what part #s for tach and harnesses?

Aftermarket Tach's will work as long as they can be set for 6 pole alternator.
