1986 Yamaha 90 hp fuel problems

I have a 90 hp motor. I installed a new fuel pump, fuel line, tank, water separator/fuel filter, engine fuel filter. The problem I have is the motor starts fine. It starts to run out of fuel after a few minutes of running. I have to pump up the bulb to keep it running. It seems to be a carb problem or the fuel pump is not pumping, any ideas?

if you have a quick disconnect at motor, bypass it, could be an airleak. then use an auxillary tank, ball and hoses hooked to your motor filter, if the proplem stays, its a motor side issue.

when you changed lines did you replace the ball??

I replaced the quick connect along with everything new in the fuel system. Everything outside the motor was replaced including fuel tank. The only thing I didn't replace on the motor side was the actual fuel lines. I noticed a gasket missing between the fuel pump and engine block. air might be getting in from this location. Will check it today and advise.
